When I first began this site back in 1995, there was very little about Ray
Harryhausen on the internet. Since then, interest in Ray and his films
seems to have grown. There are well over 1000 different web sites dealing
with Ray Harryhausen and/or his films. I'm happy to say that most of
them are positive. Many of those site are very brief and cover much
of the same ground. I've tried to include links to ones that are relative
and of value to the people who visit this site. If your link isn't
here, it doesn't necessarily mean that I didn't find your site of value,
I may have missed it. You can submit your URL to the email address
at the bottom of this page and I'll check it out. If you have a site

THE FORREST J ACKERMAN SCIENCE FICTION, HORROR
AND FANTASY VIRTUAL MUSEUM
Still under construction, but this promises to be an interesting addition
to the internet. The site is being set up in conjunction to the upcoming
cd-rom release that promises to include tons of graphics and information
on the Ackermuseum that has been of interest to fans of the genre for years.

BEAR
Greg Bear has recently released a new novel entitled DINOSAUR SUMMER. The
novel takes place in an alternate universe where the events of THE LOST WORLD
really happened and the dinosaurs have become part of a travelling circus.
Ray Harryhausen and Willis O'Brien play key roles in the novel and
if you enjoy adventure fantasy, I highly recommend that you dash out and
pick this book up. He has his own web page which features original
art, his writing credits, and an extensive biography. If he ever appears
in your area, make sure you see him. He is an extremely personable
individual with a wealth of knowledge. It will certainly be worth your
while. I had the unique good fortune to meet him during the 65th
Anniversary KING KONG event and if you want to read more about that meeting
